Murmee Privacy Policy

Thank you for using Murmee. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information.

The Short Version

Murmee does not collect, upload, or share any personal information. Everything happens locally on your device. We do not know who you are, what you listen to, or what timer you set.

The Details

What we do not collect

• No user accounts. You do not need to sign up.
• No name, email, phone number, address, birthday, or any other personal identifier.
• No access to your contacts, photos, microphone, location, or health data.
• No third-party analytics, tracking, advertising, or telemetry SDKs of any kind.
• We do not share any data between users.

What lives on your device

To restore your experience next time you open the app, Murmee stores the following on your device only (it never leaves your phone):

• Sounds and mixes you have favorited
• The list of recently played sounds
• Your custom sleep timer length
• Downloaded premium audio files (cached; the system may purge these when storage is low)

This data is stored only on your device. Uninstalling Murmee removes all of it. The "Clear cache" item in Settings clears any downloaded audio at any time.

Network requests

Murmee may download sound catalog updates and audio files from:

• https://pub-55d4551f0d3f4cbb873544ffc55e5c91.r2.dev (Cloudflare R2)

These requests carry only standard HTTP headers and contain no user identifiers. We do not log download activity on the server.

Children's privacy

Murmee is suitable for all ages. We do not collect any information from children under 13 (because we do not collect information from anyone).
